Pool Theory helps users find compatible matches and suggests neutral meeting locations.

We do not create user accounts, provide messaging features, or facilitate communication between users within the app.

  • Neighborhood-level location

We do not collect photos or precise location data.

How We Use Information

  • Generate compatible matches
  • Suggest neutral meeting locations

  • Improve and maintain the service

Matching is currently deterministic. In the future, we may improve matching systems using aggregated or behavioral data to improve match quality.

We do not use personal information for advertising or profiling outside of matching purposes.

Location Information

We use neighborhood-level location data only to recommend neutral meeting locations.

We do not share precise or real-time user location with other users.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

We may use infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting) to operate the service, but personal data is not shared for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Retention

We retain personal information while users actively receive match emails.

Inactive data may be deleted or anonymized after approximately 12 to 18 months.

Users may request deletion at any time.

Following deletion, certain data may remain temporarily in secure backups for a limited period.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information.

This service is intended for users aged 18 and older.
